11 Months Later!
Well it's been a busy year, especially the past week and a half. We had 3 big birthdays, a whole lot of football (american and soccer-style) and a baptism! Pictures of Sophie, Jackson and Zach's big days to come.

...and more!
Jackson turned the big 5! He was so proud to turn 5! We went to the circus to celebrate!
Their favorite part was the lions!
Some Major Catching Up!
So I am finally going to catch up the blog. Thanks to my mother-in-law and the lovely note I received from her! I guess she actually would like to see her grandchildren and how they have grown. So sorry Marlyce for not being on top of the blog and for not spending more pictures of the kiddos! Thanks for the little push to finally update! Get ready for picture overload...I am only doing this in one post!

I finished my first Marathon in May! As hard as it was to train for it and as scared as I was to actually run it, I LOVED IT! One of the highlights of my life!
James celebrated his 8th Birthday! And yes, that is a real live lizard! He has been wanting one for the last year and so I told him if he could wait until he was 8 I would get him one! We actually love little Striker! She is part of the family all thought I am yet to hold her and probably never will!

Jackson lost his first tooth! The next week he lost his second!
Sophie just chillin reading the scout manual!
Sophie's ranch facial mask she likes to give herself!
James and Zach's first day of school!
Zach celebrated his 7th Birthday!
Zach's Birthday Party with all his friends!
My little Sophie turned 2! I can hardly believe it!

James' Big day!
So there is way to much to post all at once so I will start with the most recent and make my way back to March! James got baptized and confirmed yesterday! I am so proud of him and the young little man he is. He is my helper my best hugger and the best son a mom could ask for. I love this little man so much!
U
For awhile James has wanted to bare his testimony but Kenny said he had to wait until he was 8. So today before church we asked him if he was going to do it and he said yes I asked him if he knew what he was going to say and if he need any help and he said "mom, I know what I am going to say!" I have to admit that I was nervous for him but he was so confident and bore the sweetest testimony. As a mom you question yourself and if you have taught them right, but today I was the proudest mom there! He bore his testimony with no doubt or hesitation. I will never forget it!

January to March update!
Wow has it really been that long! OK, I know I am pathetic but sometimes life is a little crazy and it is all I can do to just get through the day! Here is a quick update on our little family!
I decided to let Soph feed herself! She had a ball and I spent the next 1/2 cleaning up after her!
She loves her dollies and loves her baba!

For Valentines James wanted a Lizard Valentines Box. For those that know me know that I am not creative. So of course where do I go for creativity? None other then my friend Kami! I have to admit that I made the box/rock. I know it was a sad attempt, but James loved it! Kami had spray paint that made the rock look sorta like a rock! In the end, James loved his Lizard Valentines Box and said that all his friends thought it was cool!
For those that know my Zach, he has been growing his hair long for quite awhile. It all started with a bet with one of his friends dad. So every time I said "Zach lets cut your hair." He would say "but mom I have to beat John" Anyway after a long year at growing his hair and sometimes looking like he didn't have a mother to care for him, he finally cut it! I have to admit I was sad to see it go but I think he looks handsome with his short hair!
Sophie's first experience with snow! She absolutely loved it! She loves being outside and I so need a fence!
James played in his first basketball league! He loved every minute and his team did really well! This is the only b-ball picture I could find! That just shows you what a bad mom I am!
I think I left out one very important member of our family! Jackson for some reason has been left out of the mix. He is of course changing his clothes 5 times a day! Wearing the most ridiculous outfits and loving being 4 years old. Oh yeah, and almost being expelled from primary for punching his teacher in the face. Sorry folks no picture of that!
Kenny is of course loving March Madness and I am running my guts out training for my marathon in May! YIKES!
It isn't much but I am really bad a taking pictures! See ya in 3 months!

Christmas Vacation 2009
We spent our holiday season this year in St. Louis! It was a long time coming to head out and see the Lower family. We spent 12 days with Mimi and Papa and had a great time. Traveling with 4 kids is not the most fun thing I can think of but we managed. The boys were so excited and actually did a really good job on the airplane....Sophie not so much! Thanks Marlyce and Ken for having us for so long and taking such good care of us. We will have to make it there before another 3 years goes by!
Sophie got really sick with a staff infection in her leg 2 days after we got to St. Louis! This was her before she got so sick! She had a couple of rough days but thankfully got better!
Kenny"s Aunts came for a visit! They are such fun, sweet ladies! We love them to death!
The kids decorated a gingerbread house! As you can tell Zach was not so much decorating as he was eating!
We spent a day at the Children's Museum. The kids had a blast! Jackson what happened to your neck?

The kids did a live Nativity!

We had a traditional Bethlehem dinner. This actually during the prayer! Zach obviously doesn't know how to close his eyes! Marlyce had us wear head dresses like they did back then. I'm not sure that the men looked quite like that Kenny, but nice try!
This is Morgan my cute little niece. We became good little friends! She is such a doll.
Sophie got a dolly from Mimi and loved it!
The boys got Indiana Jones Wii, Star Wars movie and nerf guns!
On one of our last nights we all went to Kobe Steakhouse. The kids loved watching the chef make our food. Sophie could have done without the fire! Jackson was entertained the entire night. I don't think we have ever gone out and he not make a peep. Thanks again Theron and Kari for the awesome dinner! Next time it will be our treat!
Thanks again for the great vacation!
